I am Jeigh Derrek Lumberio, a multimedia artist based in Metro Manila who loves combining graphic/motion design, video editing, 3d designing and sound engineering in order to produce art that will have a memorable emotional effect. I aim to create experiences that people will not say they have seen or heard but felt. My approach to any project is deliberate, and I create a point of connection, meaningful stories, and boundaries. Since I am building a portfolio case study, I am going to handle the production of my projects, including the idea and actual implementation, and make every single detail. My work is the design, layout, visual and storytelling, ensuring that all works display my brand and values. I am the overall designer and the creative director with my instructor acting as the art director and critic. The customer is the one that is conceptual, influenced by my target market: multimedia based brands, which find emotional richness and strategic design important. I also have encouraged participation of peers and mentors whose suggestions have been used to develop my ideas. It is this collaboration and independence that characterize my work, which is purpose-driven, thoughtful, and focused.
